Chapter 13 Helps with Life's Bullies
October 11th, 2017
Earlier this year, I posted in this blog about an article that I was writing for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees. The article was published in their quarterly magazine this week. The title of the article is "Chapter 13: A Place to Protect Debtors From the "Bullies" In Their Lives." The article focuses on how Chapter 13 can be a place where people are protected from creditors that will take what they want by force when people fall on hard times. These creditors include the IRS, mortgage companies, and subprime lenders. Here is a link if you would like to read the article through the e-version of NACTT Quarterly (the article starts on page 26): http://files.constantcontact.com/cedf60a0401/083da5c8-c6a0-4e18-91fd-7a095fdf9348.pdf If you would like to find out more about how I can help you deal with aggressive creditors, please contact my office.
