Nick presents CARE presentation to students

This past Friday, Nick Zingarelli had the opportunity to participate in a community service effort in conjunction with the 2016 American Bar Association National Solo and Small Firm Summit. This national seminar was held in Cincinnati this past week. More information on this event can be found here http://shop.americanbar.org/ebus/ABAEventsCalendar/EventDetails.aspx?productId=250132085.

Together with attorney Brian Flick, Nick spoke to students at The School for Creative and Performing Arts on the importance of financial literacy. Judge Karen Overstreet created this project and it is based upon the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges’ Credit Abuse Resistance Education Program (CARE), which is well known among bankruptcy judges and bankruptcy lawyers. The presentation focused on the importance of understanding credit cards and student loans as well as the dangers of payday loans. It is our hope that presentations such as this one will help our next generation break the debt cycle.
